In new media, time is recordable and manipulatable: Stop, forward, rewind, lag or, most of the time, waiting.... In art, time has been running elliptically since Velasquez. Thinking about this I chose painters of foreign decent who painted the city of Sao Paulo. This outside look in different ages creates an esthetic clipping of a megacity that seems to be a monstrosity for everybody in my map.
