Pact Systems was founded in 1995 as the technological branch of Projekt Atol. Its main engineers are Borja Jelic and Tomaz Izanc. The Pact Systems lab has provided technical assistance to most of the Projekt Atol projects in recent years. Among these are UCOG-144, Makrolab mark I, Solar and the Insular Technologies initiative. During Makrolab mark II, which is currently stationed on Rottnest island, Western Australia, Pact Systems will try to establish the ørst HF digital connection between the lab and Europe, using the Insular Technologies communications suite, comprised of an SGC-2000 transceiver, a SG-7200 DSP modem, antenna system and software.
