The mark II setup consists of several basic improvements of the modular architecture and all systems in general. New materials for the inRatable membrane are used instead of the harmful PVC. Astro foil is used for the new insulation layer. Air circulation will be highly improved with the use of innovative computational models and a system of air-vents. Air řltration and puriřcation equipment will be implemented. A modular hydroponic unit built by N55 will be implemented. A new 2,5kW photovoltaic power supply will be built, with a 4kW propane powered backup ecological generator. The interior is completely redesigned and new modular elements are implemented. The communication and control consoles are renewed and include a modular, rugged řeld deployable 19inch rack system for equipment. Water puriřcation and collection will be implemented. A new hygiene system is constructed and waste disposal will be improved. 5 new emergency exists are added, together with a semi-automatic řre supression system. 6 bunks, 4 with terminals and communication consoles for work and entreatinment are added. The mark II system will be set up and operational on the 15. of September 1999 at 0800 hours.
